Kaki o Palo Santo


Kaki or Palo Santo is a very rustic tree. originating in Japan. Its fruit appears on the Mediterranean coast in October and November.

The persimmon contains 13 to 19% sugar, in the form of glucose and 1.15 to 1.60% of proteins. It has tannins, rich in salt water and pectin.

It has energy power, containing sugar. It should eat ripe for that is more nutritious. It contains complex vitamin A and C, calcium.

The khakis 5 or 6 units mixed with ripe banana or banana, fig raisins, dates, prunes roasted in the oven is a nutritious and enjoyable breakfast.

The persimmon is astringent so it is used in diarrhea, is also antidispéptico.

It is a very useful fruit for anemia, to stimulate the formation of red blood cells. It has a great energy power and is recommended as reinforcing for convalescents.
